Max's Room and Other Places: Glimpses of Middleton Greenwood History

$ 10.00 CAD

During the 1990s Jo Leath wrote a weekly local history column called "Down Memory Lane", which appeared in the Middleton newspaper.

After the success of her 2005 collection Banana Royals Peddlers and Spiles: Glimpses of Annapolis County History  she has now gathered up additional columns and augmented them with never-before-published articles.

Max's Room and Other Places: Glimpses of Middleton-Greenwood History is an 80 page compilation of stories about such institutions as the Falcourt Inn in Nictaux and 14Wing Greenwood as well as the people and places of far flung villages in the area.

A quick, fun read, it makes a great gift for family members who are living "away", and is an ideal stocking-stuffer for anyone who is interested in the places all around them.
